Hi, I was wondering if any UK visitors could point me in the right direction for obtaining a long stay visa for thailand from the UK. I would like to stay at tiger for about 9 months so I realise that I need a specific Visa but I've been unable to get any info from anybody. I've emailed and phoned to no avail. The people at TMT have been great and I know that I can get all the info for the trip from them but I still need help this side of the pond.
Anyone have any ideas?

Sawasdee Mitch,
With our invitation documents (contact
info@tigermuaythai.com
or
samai@tigermuaythai.com
) you should be able to go to the "Hull Thai Embassy / Consulate" and not have any problem getting a long term Visa.
There should also be several threads on forum concerning this issue. use search tool.

From someone who done it and will be doing it again next year. As above you need to go onto the web site for the thai embassy in Hull. In there there are all the VISA apps that are open to you.
You will want as above the education visa. You send off the forms from tiger along with the one from the website up in the post to them with your passport a photo and the fee which is less then £100
Its took me about 3-4 days to get my passport back with the educatinal stamp. Its really quick and easy. But just google up Hull thai embassy and you will be fine.
