| #3 | Air Asia certianly seems the way forward at the moment. They are flying Stansted - Kuala Lumpur for about £250 return in the run up to Xmas - compared to £550+ elsewhere
Its also pretty good as you can hop KL to Phuket directly, rather than cheap stopover in Abu Dhabi/Dohar and Bangkok before Phuket.
We've happily used Air Asia loads short haul but debuting long haul in December so reserve judgement on the quality. But, with a 2/4/2 configuration you can get a pair of seats (more elbow room for me / less for her) without having some stanger drooling over you for 12 hours.
There's no TVs apparently - but for 2 of us the cost means we get return flights and a month in Baan Suwaan for the cost of return flights on Quatar or Gulf.
Can't be that bad!

| #6 | I'm going airasia to KL then onto Phuket 2 days later then same on the way back and it's costing me roughly £550 with meals and baggage which i think is spot on as the closest price I could find to that anywhere else was nearly £1000!
Check them out mate |
